Dedication of Emma Turpin

Geoffery and Joy Turpin celebrated the dedication of Emma Turpin, their first born child, with a family gathering on Sunday 3 October 2009. The service was similar to a Jewish Simchat Bat (Celebration of the birth of a girl child) with readings from Psalm 103: 8 to 18 and prayers of blessing with the parents & grand parents participating. The day progressed with tea after the service and then a traditional family braai until everybody was well fed, tired and happy.

Bushbaby Maiden Flight

Andrew Snr (aka the engineer) and Andrew Jnr (aka the apprentice) completed the three year build project of the Bushbaby Serial #109 and the first test flight on the 1st September 2007 was flown by test pilot Cyril Manser.

Matthew Turpin visits from Australia

Matthew and Megan go on a six month holiday to South Africa, UK, Canada and Europe.  The ZA Turpin's were please to spend time with their OZ cousin.
